Two easy ways to earn Amazon gift cards

Swagbucks

In my opinion, this is probably the easiest way to earn an Amazon gift card, but also the most time-consuming.

You need to earn 700 Swagbucks (at time of writing) to get a £5 gift card. Other gift cards are available but the amazon one offers the best deal at this time.

Some of the many ways to earn Swagbucks are:-

  • Take surveys
  • Watch videos
  • Play games
  • Install and play/use phone apps (ios and android)
  • Complete polls
  • Refer friends
  • Sign up for free trials/subscriptions
  • Use the cashback feature when shopping at many online retailers

I like it because it is so varied. There is also a browser extension you can install to earn more Swagbucks if you use their search engine. Also, it notifies you if cashback is available on any page you visit. This is worth having as you get a pop-up reminder.

Gener8

The idea behind this is that instead of seeing normal adverts while you surf they are replaced by Gener8’s adverts and they will pay you to see them. This is done via a browser extension which can currently be added to Chrome or Firefox. I’m using it on Chrome and it doesn’t seem to harm performance.

You collect tokens while you browse and once you have referred a couple of friends you have access to the marketplace where you can exchange the tokens for goods and gift cards. In four weeks of normal internet browsing, I have accumulated £40 worth of tokens.

Currently, the marketplace is limited but now they have been going a while this should soon change.

I am loving Gener8 right now. In four weeks of normal internet browsing i have accumulated £40 worth of tokens.

Annoyingly for the time being you can only claim a gift once a week, the most popular being Amazon (£5) and ITunes (£10) giftcards. This should change in the future once the user base increases and they sell the advertising space. Currently it is all funded by Gener8 themselves in order to grow. Hopefully then you will be able to exchange tokens for cash.

As well as the giftcards there are also bigger ticket items such as Kindles and Firesticks. You can also donate to selected charities.

Gener8 is something i have recently discovered via a facebook advert. At first i was sceptical but i have researched and tested it out and it all seems to be above board. I also now have an amazon gift card as a result.

So, what is it?

You collect tokens while you browse and once you have referred a couple of friends you have access to the marketplace where you can exchange the tokens for goods and gift cards. My £5 giftcard was 50 tokens which i can easily collect in a week of normal browsing.

Currently the marketplace is limited but when they reach 50K users they will start to sell advertising space and the rewards should be better. Users currently stand at over 25k.
